Browser Extension

Autofill credentials, generate passwords, and access your vault from any page — available for Chrome and Opera.

The extension is not yet published to the Chrome Web Store. Install it manually via Developer mode using the steps below — this takes under two minutes.

Chrome & Chromium-based browsers

Download vaultkeep-chrome.zip
  1. 1Download the .zip file below.
  2. 2In Chrome, go to chrome://extensions and enable Developer mode (top-right toggle).
  3. 3Click "Load unpacked" and select the unzipped folder — or drag the .zip onto the page.
  4. 4The VaultKeep icon appears in your toolbar. Click it, log in, and you're ready.

Opera

Opera stable & Opera GX

  1. 1Download the .zip file below.
  2. 2In Opera, go to opera://extensions and enable Developer mode.
  3. 3Click "Load unpacked" and select the unzipped folder.
  4. 4Pin VaultKeep from the extensions menu and log in.

Build from source

Clone the repo and run:

pnpm install
pnpm --filter @vaultkeep/extension build   # Chrome
pnpm --filter @vaultkeep/extension zip     # produces .zip

The packed extension lands in .output/.
